    No two things in any category are same. The variation concept is law of nature.This law is applicable to all manufacturing processes. In any manufacturing process no two objects are ever made alike. 

   The variations in manufacturing process is due to two causes.

  • Chance Causes

  • Assignable Causes

   The objective of statistical process control is to restrict the causes of variations to chance causes only, by deleting and eliminating the assignable causes.
